Homemade Chicken and Vegetable Broth

- 3 Garlic cloves
- 2 Carrots
- 1 Onion
- 2 Celery stalks
- 1 Chicken carcass
- 1 Sprig of Fresh Thyme
- 1 Sprig of Parsley
- 4 Bay leaves
- 6 Cloves
- 5 ml of Pepper
- To taste - Salt
- 4 L of Water
Instructions
1- Peel garlic. Coarsely chop carrots, onion and celery.
2- In a large pot, add all ingredients and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat for 2 hours.
3- Use a slotted spoon or ladle to skim foam off surface from time to time.
4- Strain broth and serve.
5- To freeze, let broth cool and skim off fat.
